What if I'm offended by Mr. Buono's being offended? What if I'm offended by the thing being covered up by ugly ply wood? Where are my rights to being offended?
I will not apologize for my nation's Christian heritage. Would I be in favor of erecting such a structure in present times? No, because that symbol no longer reflects the heart and soul of my nation's people. However, the symbol did at that time and so should remain a memorial to people and times long gone.
I just heard about it this morning... it's so ridiculous, and I am offended that one man can have the power to do that because he's offended.
